Improv To Grow facilitated a half-day team building session at a critical time in our organization’s journey. The techniques shared, the trust that was built, and the pure joy from the facilitated exercises brought our group closer together. Many months later, we still use the concepts actively and the team is functioning at an all-time high. Thanks, Lisa! You and your business model are an absolute gem.

I have never been one that people would consider "shy". I am outgoing, punny (sort of), sociable, and love public speaking. That is until I have to talk about my company and/or sell. When I am selling, I turn into the polar opposite version of myself and forget how to communicate. Lisa was able to break this cycle for me. She turned the incredibly awkward sales experiences into fun games. She also gave space to "practice." Additionally, she helped me learn to calm down, think before I speak, read body language, and own a room. She is incredibly fun, loving, and personable. Anyone that has to work with people (meaning, everyone) could benefit from her training!

I attended one of Lisa’s workshops on Improv and teambuilding at an annual conference for teambuilding.  I was very apprehensive and not sure what to expect; the word “improv” definitely put me outside my comfort zone.  However, Lisa understood that some of us may be “improv challenged” and allowed us to join (or not join and just observe) at our own pace.  About half way through, I finally mustered up the courage to volunteer and I am so glad I did!  It was one of the best and fun experiences I had at the conference.  I am excited to learn more and incorporate some of these ideas in my own facilitation.  Thank you Lisa for sharing your art with me in a patient and passionate way!  I look forward to your next workshop I am able to attend!

Lisa’s training is incredibly impactful to our responders in the field. During Hurricane Harvey her team’s improvisation techniques provided us with the focus and level of energy to kick start our deployment in the Gulf with disaster survivors. Lisa and the team walked us through a morning training session that connected the team together creating an important level of trust that is needed when entering disaster zones.
